Work Type: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Location: One World Trade Center, 285 Fulton St (85TH FL), New York, NY 10007
- Title: School Nurse
- Start date: Immediately!
- Shift: Day Shift, 7am-3pm or 9am-4pm
- Vaccines: MMR, Varicella, HEP B, PPD, COVID Vaccine Required
School Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for:
- Professional, medical treatment of students
- Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations
- Disease prevention
- Promoting programs on health-education and immunization
- Maintaining clinical records
- Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments
- Providing emergency aid to students and school staff
- Assisting teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education
- Aiding in student transport
School Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications
- Active MD State Board Certified Licensed Practical
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to work with children.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
