Client Support Worker – IDD Day Program (Full-time)

Location:One World Trade Center, 285 Fulton St (85TH FL), New York, NY 10007
Full Time:
Hours Vary, offering days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Pay: $9.50-$11.50/hour

Job Description

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including feeding and toileting.
  • Assist with meal preparation.
  • Provide transportation to appointments and community outings.
  • Document client progress and behavior in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training as required.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards clients, families, and co-workers.

  • Provide training of basic personal and social skills, life-skills, or work skills to individuals.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Experience working with individuals with IDD preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
