Our client in New York, NY is seeking compassionate and dedicated Client Support Workers to join their permanent staff. As a Client Support Worker, you will assist individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program setting to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
Job Title: Client Support Worker (CSW) / IDD / Residential Community Living Support
Location: New York, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in day program settings to achieve personal goals
- Provide support with daily living activities in non-residential or residential facilities
- Teach basic personal, social, and work skills in supported employment environments
- Tailor services using a person-centered approach to meet individual needs
- Document daily progress notes aligned with ISP recommendations and HRST/SIS reports
- Complete and upload HRST monthly data trackers, meeting minutes, and required forms
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fingerprint-based background check (Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record)
- Motor vehicle report (MVR) for seven years
- Pass a drug screen
- Preferred: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
